Passion

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Matthew 6:21 Passion is a strong and almost uncontrollable emotion. It motivates one to achieve their goals. God loves us enough to impart passion into all His children.

The devil on the contrary, finds a way to quench our passion from time to time. He puts thoughts of self doubt and negativity into our minds, causing our fire to burn dimly. At times he even causes us to quit entirely.

In times as these we must look to our Father in heaven to give us back our fire. The devil has no power over us. As long as we set our hearts on God he will do the rest. Let us continue to serve the Lord with our all and work on our relationship with him.

The devil will have no choice but to flee from us, causing our passions for the work of God and our own individual passions to shine through.

Declaration Heavenly Father thank you for imparting in me the passion to do your work. Help me to remain focused on you and have my fire burn bright! In Jesus's Name! Amen
