Pray without ceasing

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. 1 Thessalonians 5:16

Sometimes we find ourselves getting weary when we pray and have not yet received. It is human nature to give up when you keep seeking for something, and you never find.

But here, in 1 Thessalonians 5:16 the Bible makes us understand that we should pray all the time without getting tired. Which means, whether we receive what we ask from the Lord or not, we must never stop praying.

The person who is always fighting against us, the devil, never sleeps nor slumber. He's constantly looking for a way to devour us, so why stop praying because you have received? As Christians, we must cultivate the habit of constantly communicating with the Lord no matter the circumstances we find ourselves.

My pastor always says, "if you pray, something will happen, if you don't pray, something will happen". So why don't you pray, so that something happens in your favor? Let prayer be a part of you!

Prayer Father, thank You that You always hear me when I pray. Help me to always come to You in prayer in every situation. Amen!
