Our Sacrifices

For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:21 NLT After I ended up a relationship with a friend, I sat down one day to have a flashback on all that happened through out our journey. I then realized that whatever was invested into it has been wasted. On that journey, there were a whole lot of sacrifices- time, money, attention and other miscellaneous expenses. These sacrifices were made in order to gain something back. One thing we should know is, we only sacrifice the most valuable things to us. In most cases, the last of our resorts. Abraham had only one son who was to fulfill God's promises to him yet he was willing to sacrifice that one son to God. The poor widow had just a penny, yet she offered it all to the building of the church of God. The poor widow had her last drop of oil and flour yet she sacrificed it to the prophet of God. Our Sacrifices must be able to cost us if not everything, then almost everything. Our Sacrifices may come in different forms: money, time, materials or even intangible forms. Our praises could be a form of sacrifice to the Lord because not everyone does it and so if you are offering your sacrifice of praise, do it well. Let it cost you everything like King David did to then extent of going naked in his praises to the Lord.
God sacrificed His only beloved Son for us so we must also not withhold any form of sacrifices due to Him from Him.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, help me to sacrifice my all to You, this day onward, in Jesus's mighty name! Amen!
