Don't Miss Your Miracle

At times, we feel like we must do all these super-spiritual things in order for God to do something special in our lives. We go out of our way expecting God to show up in a spectacular supernatural fashion. Yet, sometimes, we encounter the most amazing miracles just by doing the everyday things God has called us to do. Look at Abraham--he was sitting at his tent's door when the Lord appeared to him (Genesis 12:1). Or Moses--he was tending sheep when the Lord spoke to him (Exodus 3:1-2). Even David was going about his day tending to his father's flock when the Lord called him and anointed him to be king (1 Samuel 16:11). Just like many men in the Bible, God is calling you by name to make an impact on those that surround you. You can receive a word from the Lord while talking to people at the store, being kind to your neighbors, or loving your co-workers. Many of us are down at the church building looking for a Heavenly vision or an angel to walk through the door when the truth is, we are passing them down the street!

Christianity is a lifestyle and when we don't seek to live as such in our everyday things, we could be missing out on God's blessings. Don't miss out on your miracle because you are too spiritual! Prayer

Lord Jesus, let me never miss out on my miracle. Amen!
