He's No Respecter of Persons

But if you do what is wrong, you will be paid back for the wrong you have done. For God has no favorites. Colossians 3:25 NLT

Sometimes when I sit down to reflect on all that happened through out my life- the good, the bad and the ugly, and then look at where I am now, one question always pops up, “Why Me?”

Growing up in a family that had enough to eat, share and save was something sweet. The only way I could give directions to my house was to use cars as a benchmark, but God knows the best and all things work for good for those who love God. A sudden sickness struck through the breadwinner and things started falling apart, until everything was completely gone. And the question came up again, “Why Me?’

Being in a world where you see people whom you know were wealthy even before they grew up; because the foundation to success had been laid out for them already, wasn't something easy to observe, especially when you look at how serious you're with the Lord and how things are not how you wish or the Bible promises it to be for you. You then turn to ask God so many questions. But who are you to ask God these questions?

One for sure, at the end of it all, the rich will die just as the poor will. God gives rewards and punishments for everything a man does. He doesn't look at how big or small you are, wealthy and poorer you are, He gives according to your measures. He's no respecter of persons. He has his friends and children yet when they err, the same measure of punishment meant for everyone will be meted to them also.

He's got no favorite that's why Christ died for the world and not a specific groups of people. He's for us all and is no respecter of persons.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, help me to always do what is right at all times. Amen!
