Take it to God!

Hebrews 4:16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. God is our father but not the strict one. He's that cool dad you can talk to about anything. He definitely expects us to respect him though. There's no two ways around that. Imagine having a best friend with whom you share everything. And for the married ones, your spouse. When you get good or bad news you can't wait to tell them. You share your thoughts and fears and everything in between with them. Well that's what God is also there for. We always forget about Him until we are in trouble. And sometimes even in times of trouble we forget how magnificent He is. We forget how He is All Powerful, All Knowing, and Always Present. People can disappoint because we are limited but God is limitless. People can't always be there for you. They may be busy with their own worries and fears. You may call them in times of need and get their voice-mail. But God, Hes always there waiting for you. He knows you're calling Him even before you do. The word says call to Me and I will answer you. There's no limitations to that. He doesn't sleep and Has no worries because He is simply God. Don't get me wrong we need friends and spouses and family! These are the relationships we build on this earth. But all I'm saying is take it to God! Go to Him through His Son, Jesus, whom He allowed to die for our sins. He is also there 24/7 interceeding on our behalf. God just wants to wants us to constantly communicate with Him. Take even the little things to Him. The prayer doesn't have to follow any special protocol, it doesn't have to be formal. Just talk to Him how you'd talk to your friends. He wants you to open up to him. He wants to provide and protect you. He wants to be there for you. He's ready for you as long as you're ready for Him! Father, help me to develop my relationship with you. To know that you're always there for me, and that I can always count on you no matter how big or small the circumstances I face may be!
