Unity [Day 1]
And the Lord said, "Behold, they are one people, and they have all one language, and this is only the beginning of what they will do. And nothing that they propose to do will now be impossible for them. Genesis 11:6 ESV
When we talk about unity, I personally think about bond, strength, togetherness and or oneness. Reading from Genesis 11:1-9, I see a whole planet of humans sharing one language with one understanding. They shared a common vision and that, nothing could separate them.
They were united to the point that God got jealous of it and so He decided to separate them in order to fulfill His plan for humanity. He broke in with confusion and that brought about separation and the scattering of mankind all over the surface of the earth.
In the next couple of days, we'll be talking about some areas of life that requires unity. We will be looking at areas such as: • Oneself • Marriage • The Church • The nation
We shall be study the need to be united or the importance of Unity. It is my prayer that God will give us the understanding of His word and help us to put it to practice.
