Summary [Self Control Day 6]

I can do all this through him who gives me strength. Philippians 4:13 Self control is our ability to control our emotions and desires in situations that call for chaotic outcomes. It is the ability to make a conscience effort to make certain lifestyles changes and follow through. Most importantly it is the Holy Spirits gift to us to withstand all the wile of the devil. And with His help we will overcome. Self control will take you places we never dreamed of if only we can actually put it into practice. It is not easy to do but in the end is very beneficial for all Christians to have. Throughout the life of Christ, He gave us many examples of what self control looks like and what it takes to exercise it. 

We must first and foremost always put God first. Without Him self control will be completely impossible. As christians we would always fall prey to sin but God being so good to us has given us the Holy Spirit who will guide and help us to develop our gift of self control. Dear God, thank you for giving me some insight to this special gift bestowed upon me . I pray that I may be able to use it for you glory. Help to always exercise self control no matter the situations I may face. I give you all glory honor and adoration. In Jesus's Name! Amen!
